Big boats need big size furlers as well, and even though most will go for electric or hydraulic furlers, some will prefer a manual version, capable of being fitted on bigger size forestays.

The LS/LX 330 model can be fitted onto stays up to 1″ diameter. The LS model is the standard cruising version, and the LX model offers an upgraded version featuring a removable drum, a rotating tack fitting and a stainless steel feeder. The removable drum makes it easy to change the system into a twin groove head foil ready for racing.
As you would have read before, the new Kato II chose a carbon foil version for obvious weight saving reasons, but we also supplied two of those big furlers onto the new Cairns based 30m charter catamaran Passions of Paradise.
