TYE TEC launched at METS last month a new product as part of their ever-evolving range of loop blocks – the 45/60/80 and 100 mm models now have a swiveling option from their attachment point. This makes the blocks work more efficiently and potentially avoids accidental twisting of the loops.

The swiveling attachment can also be purchased on its own and used along with friction rings or the popular Tye Tec NMP blocks.

These new fittings are light weight, as Tye Tec products always are, and have very high working loads. They can have many applications like 2:1 Halyards, tweakers, spinnaker halyards…
